Vitamin D has been studied for its ability to prevent cardiovascular disease, breast cancer, and colon cancer – and new research shows it might fight pancreatic cancer – the 4th leading cause of cancer deaths in the US.
Just a few minutes of natural sunlight helps your body synthesize vitamin D. Other sources of Vitamin D:
* We don’t recommend pasteurized, low fat or skim milk as good sources since artificially added Vitamin D is not in its natural balance and is not used as well by your body.
The natural sources are the best.
Each of us is infinitely creative. In our essential state we are pure consciousness. We are an inseparable part of the field of pure potentiality, which is the ultimate source of every idea, creative act, and everything we see in the physical universe. In every moment we are using our intentions, thoughts, and attention to create the world around us.
Given our inherent creativity, what stops us from fully expressing and harnessing our creative potential? The greatest obstacle is certainty. When we’re certain that we already know all the answers, we’ve convinced ourselves of our limitations, and we are sure of what is and is not possible, we prevent the birth of new possibilities.
Extraordinary events, ideas, and coincidences come into our lives every day. If we are mired in conditioned thought patterns and beliefs, we can’t recognize and take advantage of these opportunities. We only see them in hindsight. Instead of rigidly clinging to the familiar, embrace the unknown. When you have a new feeling, an uplifting thought, an insight you’ve never acted upon, allow the possibility to emerge.
To tap into our deepest potential and creative reservoirs, two extremely valuable tools are the NSA/SRI and the practice of meditation. When we do both, we access the pure consciousness that is the source of all creative inspiration. We go beyond our internal dialogue and repetitive thoughts into the refreshing silence and stillness of pure awareness.
As you cultivate inner stillness, you will be able to act from a place of calm, centered awareness. The combination of stillness and dynamic movement will allow you to create whatever you want. As you venture into the field of all possibilities, keep in mind that feeling uncertain is a sign that you are moving in the right direction – towards greater freedom and expansion.
‘Just as a picture is drawn by an artist, surroundings are created by the activities of the mind’ – Buddha
And as you find yourself transforming on the inside, it is a good time to start becoming aware of what you are wearing on the outside.
Does your clothing still match the you that you are becoming? In most cases you will find clothing on yourself that just doesn’t feel like the new you.
Assemble your “old you” clothing and create a clothing swap with your friends. Stepping into the upgraded version of you feels most complete, whole, and inspiring!
When people are speaking passionately and are in a creative “zone” or a state of well being, they may appear more beautiful and vibrant, perhaps even glowing. It makes sense that those who are the most productive, creative, adaptable, and vibrant should be the most attractive to others of the species. When the “shoulds” of our culture–the stories that others have for who we need to be and how we must act–become the main determinants of our life, we have already compromised our inner connection and our physical, psychological, and energetic attractiveness suffers. Remain attractive and enticing to be with. People whose inner connection to their body and its emotions, to their purpose, to the life energy that animates them, and to the web.
I am sure that some of you know how useful SRI is as a tool for you to use at home, and gain greater connection, and reduce stress. For those of you who might have forgotten, here is an assignment for all of you that I think will be helpful wherever you are at with your SRI.
Breath, Movement, Energy?
Or Movement, Energy, Breath?
Or Energy, Breath, Movement?
Familiarizing yourself with this will enable you to be more efficient in your own SRI at home, and I will also utilize this during your entrainments.
So, experiment, and please, let me know what you find.
For you computer savvy people, or not, YELP has made its way over to the East Bay.
Yelp is a helpful resource to get recommendations for any and everything from restaurants, to health care providers! It is done through recommendations. People write their own reviews of people they like.
I would be most grateful if every one of you would take the time to write about your positive experience here. I am trying to build the practice a bit, and your help would be greatly appreciated. Once a review is written is it sent back to me. So it is a good opportunity for you to go inside and become aware of how this work has affected your life.
With summer just about behind us, time to store all our great summer memories and plan for the upcoming year. Being from the east coast, it always takes time for me to adjust, or not, to the idea of summer here. To me summer is hot days, hot nights, beach, ice cream, suntans, thunderstorms, books and backgammon. So I got 10 days of that minus the thunderstorms. We spent a week in Cape Cod reconnecting to old memories, and old friends, and then a couple of days in Boston, visiting the areas I grew up. It was great to reconnect, and start opening up old channels again, and at the same time to feel how much transformation has occurred in my life. I have a lot to be grateful for.
On Wednesday, September 2nd, the office will be opening a half hour later at 10:00AM so that I can participate in the first day of school events. AND this Friday, September 4th the last entrainment appointment will be 10:00 am, so that I can make my way to the airport to go to the GATE.
Many of us have been off on our summer schedules, have been taking vacations, and being more leisurely, and so coming into the office has been more sporadic. So, now that we are reestablishing our normal routines, please fit your entrainments back in. The summer has been quiet, and I look forward to seeing you and your spines back in the office.
The next health care class and introduction to network care is scheduled for September 21st!
This talk is full of information that I believe everyone would enjoy, old timers and newcomers. It is the perfect event to bring someone to who might be interested in this care, and your description of the work hasn’t quite convinced them yet. Let me convey through many avenues what this work can do for them. Please put this on your calendar, and please help me by distributing flyers around town, your favorite yoga studio, restaurants, grocery stores, libraries….. Thank you for helping me spread the word.
If you ever want to learn more about network and or SRI there is more and more available through Youtube. You ever play around here?
There are some great network videos here. It’s another great way to learn more and show your friends. Just put in network spinal analysis, NSA, or SRI and see what you find.
The healingfest will be happening this coming weekend. Both Michelle and myself will be attending as well as a couple of people from the office. We look forward to coming back recharged and refueled.
So summer is more than halfway over, and fall just around the corner. It is amazing how fast time is moving. I just spent 3 weeks with Ruby, while Molly was in Jerusalem for 3 weeks with her grandparents and Aunt/Uncle/cousins, and Lily was at summer camp for 1 month. They both returned yesterday, and it is so amazing to watch how much growth occurs in the absence of family. In part we are so responsible for our children, and in part their growth has nothing to do with us, but more importantly to let go, hang on, hold tight, and watch. I am so in awe of my children, and so in awe of their individuality.
