I am so grateful to have you all in my life, and that you trust me as an element to further your growth in who you REALLY are. I am so moved when I see people’s lives transform, and smell and taste emotion emitting from your cells. The full range of emotion is what we are going for here, to be able to really feel it all. Marshall Rosenberg, Ph D says it so well in his book on Nonviolent Communication where he quotes Rollo May “the mature person becomes able to differentiate feelings into as many nuances, strong and passionate experiences, or delicate and sensitive one, as in the different passages of music in a symphony. For many of us, however, our feelings are, as May would describe it “limited like notes in a bugle call”. Network Care offers the opportunity to play a symphony! I would like to be serving more people in the community, so if you have friends and family members that you know would benefit from this work, please ask Camilla for a gift certificate, and offer them the Initial at half off.I am grateful always to serve people that are important to you.
SRI continues to be a tantamount tool and adjunct to network care. It is designed to work hand in hand with NSA. It will take you over humps, and move you into greater opportunity for growth and transformation. We have Jeannie set up to come to the practice one time per week. If you can make it during her day, it is great to upgrade your network care. Please check the calendar to be sure of the dates she will be with us. And, once you have learned Stages One and Two, practicing these on your own at home on a daily basis will help you stay connected inside your own body. The more connected you stay in your own body, the more able you will be able to feel what is happening for you, and make decisions from there. It is a definite win win.
I recently went to Sweat Your Prayers in Sausalito this past Sunday. It is a way to connect in your body, connect to source, and have abundant sources of love enter your being, and many other emotions can come up as well. You can dance internally connecting to source, and connect with others on the dance floor. I love having people I love be there with me, so if any of you are so inclined, come join in on Sundays at 8:30. I most likely will be there every other week, but if dance is your thing, I highly recommend you check it out. And I would love to see you there! This is the creme de la creme program offered by Donald Epstein, founder of Network. It is a week long intensive where you deeply experience yourself and your programming and get the opportunity to rewire, reorganize and reach for the greatest version of you. I will be attending this program this summer along with two people in the practice. Yay! It is the second week in August and Laura Dabby, the practitioner who spent some time in the office in April, will be taking care of your spines and souls. She is well trained and gifted, so I hope that you will enjoy her work. It is always great to get other practitioners to work with your spine, from time to time, because they will have a different perspective than mine. So please do keep your appointments during that week. And, I am sure that I will come back a newer and greater version of me, so make sure to come in for entrainments upon my return!
It has been a while since I have put my thoughts and feelings on paper. And in the time period I have been through so much. I am not even sure where to begin. Love. That is always a good place to start. It is so important to create strategies for ourselves that connect us to the truth of who we really are, and that no one, and no thing is going to pull us off track. Because when we can find ourselves there, that is where the love resides. That is not an easy task, at least not for me. But it is a good time to check in with who you are spending time with. Do they uplift you? Do they support your growth and true gifts? The best way to identify the quality of your company is to check in with whether you are living in your heart and feeling that love.
How much time are you spending alone? Do you take walks in nature? Do you have a good book to read, one that inspires you? I learned that I can get so lost in friendship and relationship that sometimes I forget to spend quality time alone. And without that quality alone time, it is easy to get lost and forget who you are. The ocean is such a nourishing replenisher. You don’t have to do anything but be in the presence of the flow of the ocean, and your cells are cleansed and expanded.
And then there are the distractions. Are you addicted to facebook? Or to your cell phone maybe? These preoccupations can lead to so much wasted time, which can take you away from the time that you need to reconnect. I have been amazed to see how attached to my phone I am. It is not an attachment I am proud of nor that I want to continue. I have been letting it go little by little and I look forward to using it only as a needed resource.
How easy is it for you to be in the flow, to accept things as they come and as they go? Sometimes I get the opportunity to experience how tightly I might be holding on. Donny always says in his lectures, ‘how do you know it is the right thing? …because that is how it is happening right now’. Sometimes I like to fight with the nature of things. And it isn’t really much fun. To accept life as the exact play that is designed for you, and take in the changes as they come, and know that the magic is there all the time, if you can be free in the moment. Sometimes I watch in awe when I see people that really seem to live in this manner. The image that returns to me over and over again is of a leaf, floating its way down a river. It might go this way, turn in here, navigate through a challenging corner perhaps, but it keeps going, unattached, untouched, calm, and sweet.
